Meet Our Team
Dedicated veterans, clinical guides, and horticultural specialists working together to empower recovery through nature and community.

CJ Cowgill
Board Chair & Chief Executive Officer
CJ Cowgill is one of the four founding members of Operation Green Healing and serves as Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer. He served in the U.S. Army from 2000 to 2003 as a 52C utility equipment repairman, and was medically retired as an E4 specialist. After battling alcoholism and addiction, he found healing through alternative therapies, including cannabis, which set him on a new path. With seven years of experience in the nonprofit space, CJ and the team launched Operation Green Healing to help veterans find community and hope.

Bruce Kuka
Board Member & Veteran Advocate
Bruce Kuka is a Navy and Army veteran whose military career included submarine service with the U.S. Navy and service as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. As a board member of Operation Green Healing, Bruce is committed to advocating for veterans, supporting alternative paths to wellness, and helping build stronger communities for those who have served.

Terry Ikey
Founding Member & Treasurer
Terry Ikey is one of the founding members of Operation Green Healing and serves as Treasurer. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1991 to 1995 as a Field Artillery Cannoneer with Echo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines. After leaving the Marine Corps, Terry spent more than 25 years building and leading businesses while remaining committed to serving the veteran community. His work with veteran organizations introduced him to alternative approaches to healing and the importance of peer support, purpose, and community. Terry co-founded Operation Green Healing to help veterans reconnect, find new paths toward healing, and build the same sense of camaraderie and belonging many experienced while serving. His mission is simple: make sure veterans know they still have a team behind them and that no veteran has to navigate the next chapter alone.

Greg Meyer
Founding Member & Sergeant at Arms
Greg Meyer is a founding member of Operation Green Healing and serves on the board as Sergeant at Arms. He served in the U.S. Army from 2008 to 2011 as a 31B Military Police Officer with Echo Company, 787th MP Battalion. Following his military service, Greg faced severe battles with addiction and mental health struggles before finding recovery and purpose through the mindful use of alternative therapies. Drawing on a decade of experience serving in veteran-focused non-profits since 2015, he remains dedicated to helping fellow service members navigate their own healing journeys.
